Free preview access is limited. Paid access grants the tier features shown at checkout and in GET /v1/capabilities. We may throttle, queue, pause, or reject requests that exceed published limits or threaten service reliability.
Terms
Use the API to generate geometry, not to abuse the service.
These terms are the public launch version for Aperiodic Monotile API. They explain access, output ownership, acceptable use, limits, and refunds in plain language.
Your outputs
We do not claim ownership of the generated geometry you export. Your creative rights begin with your design choices, materials, colors, compositions, products, tooling, and integrations.
Availability
The API is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. Jobs may fail, queues may form, and downloads are time-limited. Keep your own copies of artifacts you intend to use.
Acceptable use
Do not overload, resell access, or attack the system.
You may use the API in design, research, art, education, software, physical prototyping, and commercial workflows. You may not share paid API keys publicly, bypass rate limits, scrape private endpoints, reverse engineer billing controls, upload malicious payloads, or use the service for unlawful activity.
We may suspend access for abuse, payment failure, attempts to bypass limits, or activity that creates operational risk for other users.
No warranties
Validate geometry before production use.
Generated files are provided as-is. Before manufacturing, publishing, or relying on exported geometry, you are responsible for checking scale, tolerances, toolpaths, material behavior, physical safety, regulatory requirements, and compatibility with your downstream software.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the month when the issue occurred.
